Well, it’s been a long time coming, but after jumping through several Apple hoops, getting rejected once for an “irrelevant keyword”, our app is finally live.
More info after the jump!
Using a unique and polished art style and music from the 1950’s era to emphasize a truly simple and easy to pick up and play game of tossing and catching a coin.
Swipe up to toss, follow the tempo of the Retronome, and tap to catch at the proper time.
It’s as simple as Paper Toss, but you can even play this one without looking at the screen, as you listen to the metronome ticks – works good for the visually impaired.
The more catches you make, the harder the game gets as the tempo changes, and the Retronome vanishes at times.
This works great as a time-filler game as you try to beat your own score, and challenge friends!

I tell ya, it’s been a tough time and an interesting learning experience making this game – one month in development, and two months dealing with Apple bureaucracy. After all that, we’re hoping that we’ll make it big, but it’s a very competitive and tough market out there.
We need all the support we can get, so even if you don’t own an iPhone, please do spread the word.
I really like the trailer! It sure gives off that retro feel.
Hope it does well in the market!
The retro 50s art style is the highlight. I like that for a change for a minigame!
(too bad I do not own any Apple products at all…)
Totally dig that retro art style. The “It’s swell!” comment is also a very nice touch.
2 months just to get it approved. -___- I feel your pain.
I love the music of the trailer btw. I am a sucker for jazz ^^
Me has no ipod ^^U (I’m an outcast! I’m not into the trend! O cruel society!)
…Please don’t mind me I’m out of my effing mind right now lol.
Do you get paid for this product? after all the useless paperwork… I can understand at least that bit, it’s like trying to get coverage for medicine, a huge pain in the place sun don’t shine, then the costumers don’t understand it’s not our fault they have no coverage and the medicine costs over 9000 dollars.
If I ever happen to get an iphone I’ll give your app a spin!
Cool! I love games like this. ^~^
Unfortunately, I don’t spend on apps that have to be paid. Parents would never allow that..
