Browsing through the internet, I stumbled upon this figure. I have no idea what series she’s from, but then again, I don’t really care. I really like this! A kimono coupled with a scooter is such a nice contrast, yet at the same time, the soft lines blend itself well. More pics after the jump!

She even comes with a completely separate outfit! I’m sure they just use cast-off technology. But it looks like even the slippers are different. I also wonder how they did the flower in her hair without leaving a hole. Replacing the whole hair is quite a bit. If it’s just the bangs, then that’s pretty easy. The flower looks like it is placed fairly far back though.

Manufactured by Moon Toys. I know nothing about this company. Do you? After the likes of Atelier Sai, Orchid Seed, and Yamato, I’m extremely hesitant to take the dive into this 12,000 yen investment.
Does anyone have experience with Moon Toys, or have any more info on them?
Update: This figure is now out at Hobbysearch. The final product shots look nothing like the prototype. I’m not happy about that.

Replied at danny’s but I’ll leave one here aswell…The only other thing I know that they’ve made was the Mechamusume figure Elizabeth which I own and she’s easily on par with anything Alter does detailing and paint wise.
If your only reservation is the manufacture I can tell you from first hand they can make an incredible PVC.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I noticed that they have Elizabeth at hobbysearch, and there doesn’t seem to be any other reference to Moon Toys that I’ve found. Glad to know that she’s up to par with Alter then. That puts my mind at ease. Definitely strongly considering getting this figure now!
Good Luck with your decision…I went ahead and decided to preorder her for several reasons least of which she reminds me abit of a grownup Murasaki from Kurenai. Thanks again for reminding me the figure exists saw her awhile back and forgot honestly. >_<
What an awesome figure! I don’t usually collect this type of figure and even I want one!
