Completely off topic, I know. But this is too amazing to pass up.
A guy named Kutiman went though youtube and sampled all sorts of random clips of people playing instruments, and mixed them all into some absolutely amazing music.
His site where the videos are hosted, thru-you.com, is currently down due to too much traffic. But I’ve gone and found them on youtube for your enjoyment. It’s some good stuff!
1. Mother of All Funk – a fun song featuring some sweet jazzy instruments and some awesome guitar solos. I’m guessing this is his first experimentation with this project.

2. This is What It Became – a pretty interesting reggae style song with some good mixes.

3. I’m New – this is definitely one of my favorites. The singer is beautiful, with a soft soothing voice.

4. Babylon Band – awesome drummer in his own right, but Kutiman makes it better. A heavy track but sounds great!

5. Someday – the mother who sings in this is very good. A cool mellow jazzy song.

6. Wait For Me – very nice electronica R&B track. A lot of the people in this seem to know what they’re doing to begin with.

7. Just a Lady – the song isn’t my type of music, but I can appreciate the singer. The focus is definitely on her through the whole song.

Simply amazing, it’s always good to see things never seen before. I’m not that good with musical knowledge, but I do know that this sounds awesome.

Wonderfully different. I think this is a true example of musical ingenuity. Take something established and mix it up with a new eye and ear and put it out there. Really inspiring. I`m looking forward to more from Kutiman. Great sounds. Thanks to all involved for being so open to new ideas. NIKE – just do it.
