Raquel Gothic – With Pixie Dust

I’ve been putting this off for months, but have finally gotten some time to do a proper photoshoot (34 pix!), review, photoshop image, youtube video, and wallpaper for this well deserved resin statue from e2046. I didn’t want to do a half-decent job because this figure deserves more, and so does e2046. This is probably the biggest post I’ve ever done. Here is an account of my experiences in dealing with e2046’s customer service, as well as an in-depth photoshoot, and photoshop pic after the jump.

Chua Churam – the Vampire Loligoth Pink Rocker?

by radiantdreamer September 10, 2008 in Anime Figures 20 comments tags: 1:8 scale, ABS, anime, chu x chu idol, chua churam, figure, gothic, guitar, loli, photoshop, PVC, rocker, vampire
My latest arrival is Chua Churam from Chu X Chu Idol. I know nothing about the series (if it even is a series) but I knew I had to have her when I saw her. The flowing dress and everything was just too exquisite to pass up. She is, in fact, the reason why I sold Ignis the White. I figure that having one or two flowing dress figures is enough, so something had to go. I must say, I am happy with that decision.

Gothic Devil Girl – hobbyfan -Sparkle-

by radiantdreamer April 21, 2008 in Anime Figures 10 comments tags: 1:6 scale, devil, garage kit, girl, gothic, hobbyfan, lolita, pre-painted, Resin, sparkle
Last week, my order for the Gothic Devil Girl from hobbyfan arrived. I would have to say that I’m very impressed with Sparkle’s work. The paint is excellent, with nary a single mistake with their paint lines. Very accurate, and very detailed, with no bleeds, no stray paint, no rough surfaces. It came packed in a nice labeled box in a very well protected cut foam.

Gothic Devil Girl with Cross available at Hobbyfan

by radiantdreamer April 05, 2008 in Anime Figures 2 comments tags: 1:6 scale, gothic, hobbysearch, lolita, prepainted, resin kit, resin statue
I’m sure many of you remember this figure. Well she’s available again, from hobbyfan! I’ve been wanting to get this figure since I saw her in Replicant magazine. It did show that a PVC version was available in that book, but I don’t think one ever got released. So for those of you that really wanted to get a hold of this from e2046, but never got the chance, Hobbyfan is your answer. Considering figure prices nowadays at upwards to 7800 yen, $118 for this prepainted resin statue is pretty good. Availability at hobbysearch : currently in stock https://www.hobbyfan.com/product_info.php?products_id=4805
