I’m sure most of you have come up against the problem of owning too many anime figures, that you’re running out of room. My own personal solution is to rotate them, and keep some of them in storage. This keeps things fresh. You may recall a previous post on my collection, so let’s see how things have changed since then.

Saber Lily Omake!

by radiantdreamer November 13, 2009 in Anime Figures 29 comments tags: figure, figures, good smile company, goodsmile company, konata, nendoroid, omake, photography, radiantdreamer, saber, wallpaper
A bit of a lazy post this week, not because I don’t want to, but because I don’t have time at the moment. I’m getting ready to take a trip to Singapore next week, so from here until the beginning of December, you probably won’t see a photoshop post. But I may keep you updated on AFA 09 and whatever cool things happen while I’m there. I’ve decided to take this opportunity and post some of the omitted shots from both Winged Lily and Angel Lily. By the way, all these pics have larger versions if you click on them.

Lily just doesn’t get a break! We all know what it can feel like when we’re not wanted. It looks like Saber does too. More after the jump!

High-Res Yuki Nendoroid Pix

by radiantdreamer June 24, 2009 in Anime Figures 16 comments tags: anime, figures, good smile company, nendoroid, suzumiya haruhi, yuki nagato
It’s been a while since I posted a figure photo shoot. One figure I would like to share is my Yuki Nagato (Suzumiya Haruhi) nendoroid. My second Nendoroid, it took a lot of back and forth before I committed. So here for you all is my Yuki in relatively high resolution images. You can use them as wallpaper or something if you like. More pix after the jump! (caution, high bandwidth!)

My Current Collection

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted any of the recent figures I’ve purchased. Yet, I’ve been constantly complaining about my lack of space, and the figures I have been selling, I’m not actually getting rid of my entire collection – space or not. Many of my figures are packed and stored in my closet. Well, less than 30%, if I would have to make a guess… There are quite a few figures that I just can’t part with, even if they’re put away in the closet. I’m sure many of you have the same problem. My own personal solution? Cycle them ocassionally. I’ve done it once or twice already, and it’s always fun, and your shelves never look boring. I like re-arranging my figures so they have a theme, or some sort of cool looking composition, or maybe I feel like “featuring” one particular figure, and place her under the spotlight. As such, I’ve decided to document how my collection changes over time. This would be the second time I’ve taken photos of my own collection. More photos after the jump!

Sakura Shinguji

by radiantdreamer March 11, 2009 in Anime Figures 5 comments tags: 1:10 scale, anime, figure, good smile company, max factory, PVC, sakura, sakura shinguji, sakura taisen, sakura wars
Here’s a figure that I’ve had for not too long. Sakura Shinguji, from Sakura Taisen. She’s 1:10 scale, PVC. Made by Good Smile Company’s Max Factory. Considering her size, the detail on her is very meticulous. You can’t even tell she’s a small figure. Actually, the size of it adds to the overall neatness of this figure. More photos after the jump!

Figma Saber – The Best in PVC Posability

by radiantdreamer July 03, 2008 in Anime Figures 17 comments tags: Alter, anime, clayz, ebcraft, enter brain, fate stay night, figma, figures, fraulent, good smile company, GSC, hyper fate, photoshop, revoltech, saber, Valkyrie Profile
I would have to say that I am MOST impressed with aquiring this figure. For a very long time, I’ve been waiting for a version of Saber that really appealed to me – both in dynamic pose, and in detail. In part, this would be my first armored Saber and first Figma in one go. Fortunately, when I made the purchase, I had committed to this being the first and last Figma I would purchase (for the sake of my wallet, my sanity, and my marriage). I had to make it a good one. Thankfully it is.

The Rise of Rize

by radiantdreamer June 03, 2008 in Anime Figures 7 comments tags: 1:8 scale, anime, figures, good smile company, photoshop, PVC, red entertainment, rize, shuraki
Finally, the last Shuraki figure. It’s been a long haul, and many exciting e-tailer camp-outs, but I’m glad that I have all five of the 1st-run Shuraki figures. The style of Rize matches Shall very well. Of course, what’s the point of me posting pictures if they aren’t photoshopped? Onward!!
