Neogaf is having a contest. Well, actually it’s more like Arc System Works Europe is holding a contest hosted by Neogaf. So I’ve decided to participate with heated soul! Part 2 of my work, continuing from Part 1.
This isn't the first time I've done fan-art. But this is the first time I've tried to make fan-art look like official art. While it's not quite to par with official art, I'd say I come fairly close. More pix and video after the jump!
So I finally got to buying Yotsuba Vol 1 through 5. And here, is my latest photoshop work, a fan-art of Yotsuba and my so far favorite chapter. Some of you may remember those fabulous lines. And let’s not forget the best shot ever of Yotsuba, Asagi and the strawberry cake. “Zooom Zoooom!” I’m currently reading Vol 3.
Another fan-art. Haruhi is always so bossy and demanding. She’s the equivalent of a lot of stereotypical “violent korean girlfriends“. For Haruhi, Moe just doesn’t happen with her. Going along with the alternate Mikuru, why not reverse the role with Haruhi as well? Here’s Moe Haruhi! Super kawaii!! In terms of drawing anime art, I would have to say that the paint job in this one was most satisfying. It actually didn’t take all that long to paint or to draw either. All in all, I would have to say that moe is a very easy style to draw.
