This figure is for sale. I’m selling her for $120 (plus shipping if you’re not locally in Vancouver). I’m selling her not because I don’t like her, but because I simply don’t have the room. She’s HUGE, (and would be a fine addition to anyone else’s collection.
The one thing I noticed about VN02 Mix that Kodomut was also able to pick out – She looks best from the side.
Some people have complained that she looks a little stupid from the front, because of her eyes. I agree with that. But this isn’t a figure that you place facing perpendicular to you. She’s definitely meant to be placed either parallel, or slightly off angle from it.
The details of this figure are astounding.
I’d have to say that she’s like a blended mix between an Evangelion costume and a Gundam.
With the exception of the twin tails, she looks nothing like Miku. Some would say “yeah it’s like a re-imagining”, but I’d say that the creator wanted to cash in and ride the Miku bandwagon.
Those wing-like things are noms, that’s for sure.
I actually do like how her skirt covers most of her butt. It’s a bit unrealistic, since it’s totally conforming to the contours of her butt, but it’s nice. It’s not super revealing, but enough is hinted that the imagination is far better.
The detailing on the back is very nice, and rarely shown. This is where the wing things connect.
Even the inside of the wing things have incredible detail. WTF!! Now I’m thinking Halo or something.

This one always tickled my fancy. Eva + Gundam + Miku seems like a dream combination. The detail from its pics looked astounding, and the pose is pretty impressive too.
I would totally consider getting her, but I fear for shipping. Will it be some ludicrous amount, given how large you make her out to be?

I have a friend that really wanted this figure, but then he remembered he just dropped $250 on a BRS figure. I think he’s abstaining from figure buying for a while.

I guess I disagree with you: I think she looks great from straight ahead, and prefer it to a side view.
Of course, I like all my figures to be looking toward the viewer, if possible: figures looking downward go on higher shelves, figures looking upward go lower. For me, this one is perfect at eye level.
Hmm that’s interesting. To each their own, I suppose. The general consensus from what I’ve heard is that people don’t like the front view.
Yes, I too prefer it when figures look at the viewer in that manner. It drives me nuts that most of my shelves are not at eye level.
I was on the fence about buying this figure. I liked the design, but I wasn’t sure about the bright green hair. But I decided to get it and am happy that I did; even the green looks good to me now.

I own her, She was my very first figure I ever bought and I’ve never been more satisfied with her. From my standpoint front facing and side views are ok but I think she looks her finest at a wonderful 45°. I just wish I found this earlier, I would have bought it second hand. As for jumping a band wagon naa’ everything about miku has some sort of reimagination applied to her anything from PV’s to CG’s so the bright neon green hair fits right at home with her along with the mech stylization.
