So I stumbled upon this pretty wicked resin kit on hobbyfan. It’s most impressive with excellent detail, and a creative idea. For $100 for a prepainted statue of this caliber, that’s a pretty slick deal. Especially considering standard PVC figures nowadays can cost upwards to $80 a pop. I would have bought it. But, well… there’s a reason why I decided not to. (NSFW)
Yes. Bare breasts. You’d think that something this cool would have some sort of non-breast-bearing version. I REALLY like this figure, but with the boobage for all to see, it’s been striked off my list.

Look at the incredible detail! It’s like Optimus Prime meets Armored Core meets Anime! DO WANT! *sigh* I suppose if I REALLY wanted to, I could shave off the nipples, and just paint a skin-tight black body suit, but that’s just silly.

So why am I against it? No, I’m not against it, but I do think that figures are meant to be displayed, and displayed without large breasts distracting from what is truly an artistic and magnificent sculpture. That and I don’t think my wife would be very happy about this figure. Well, if they do decide to create a more “covered” version, I’d definitely buy it.
EDIT: My mistake. This is for an unpainted figure. Hmmm doesn’t make it so worth it after all. But for you hobbyists out there, this is definitely one to get!

It’s definitely one of the coolest figures I’ve seen. I would love to get it if it wasn’t so… risque. I do wonder though… what goes through their heads when they put things like that on display? Do the care? Or maybe they don’t get guests?
After two months I’m allmost done with this kit and what a great kit it is. The detail is unbelivable, there is so much to paint. It is also very tall for the scale so if you decide to try this kit I hope you have the room to to show it off. By the way the nudity thing, grow up they are only breast.

I personally am a very liberated individual. I don’t mind breasts or nipples at all. But most of society seem to not think like that, so I have to stay within those bounds. If you can, please read my article “Are You Hentai Otaku?!” and you’ll know what I mean.
This looks like one of those figures you’d keep hidden for when you live along, but still looks awesome!
