Temptations of a Witch

Witches originally were portrayed as hags and wrinkly old ladies, but recently, that image has changed to sexy hot females who sometimes wear very little clothes. Being seduced by a witch nowadays sounds like a hot idea.

I knew that it would eventually come where I would have to part with some of my figures to make room for others, but I didn't know that it would be this hard...

It's been a long time since I've done a figure photoshop, but I'm glad I finally took some time to do one, and boy it was a lot of fun! Check the video, and the review of this incredible figure!

I decided that my life was too boring, and I needed to suffer a little bit. Sometimes, you just need to be a drama queen to feel a little bit more alive. Watch me squirm as I struggle to learn Easy Painter Tool Sai!

I’m sure most of you have come up against the problem of owning too many anime figures, that you’re running out of room. My own personal solution is to rotate them, and keep some of them in storage. This keeps things fresh. You may recall a previous post on my collection, so let’s see how things have changed since then.

My Current Collection

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted any of the recent figures I’ve purchased. Yet, I’ve been constantly complaining about my lack of space, and the figures I have been selling, I’m not actually getting rid of my entire collection – space or not. Many of my figures are packed and stored in my closet. Well, less than 30%, if I would have to make a guess… There are quite a few figures that I just can’t part with, even if they’re put away in the closet. I’m sure many of you have the same problem. My own personal solution? Cycle them ocassionally. I’ve done it once or twice already, and it’s always fun, and your shelves never look boring. I like re-arranging my figures so they have a theme, or some sort of cool looking composition, or maybe I feel like “featuring” one particular figure, and place her under the spotlight. As such, I’ve decided to document how my collection changes over time. This would be the second time I’ve taken photos of my own collection. More photos after the jump!

Caren Ortensia

The beautiful Caren Ortensia, from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. Manufactured by Alter, she stands 1:8 scale. You may have seen pics of my desk at work if you are part of the Anime Figurines Network on Facebook, and she may have been in there part of the background. Sadly, I never really had her on display for very long before packing her up and putting her in storage. I’ve taken her out to do a shoot of her because well, she’s another figure for sale. Surprisingly, she was sold to a friend of mine on AFN even before I put her up here. More pics after the jump!

Figma Saber – The Best in PVC Posability

I would have to say that I am MOST impressed with aquiring this figure. For a very long time, I’ve been waiting for a version of Saber that really appealed to me – both in dynamic pose, and in detail. In part, this would be my first armored Saber and first Figma in one go. Fortunately, when I made the purchase, I had committed to this being the first and last Figma I would purchase (for the sake of my wallet, my sanity, and my marriage). I had to make it a good one. Thankfully it is.
